The Torrevieja Costa Lions are involved in helping the A.E.C.C. (Associación Espanola Contra El Cancer) in Torrevieja to set up a patient support unit in the new Torrevieja Hospital in Los Balcones. We are fundraising to supply much needed equipment and also volunteering our help in manning the service. If you would like to know more or to offer any help, you can contact the Web Master Jennie Mutter on jenniemutter@hotmail.com. We are arranging a Tree of Lights to provide a means of remembering our loved ones over Christmas. Each name in the Book of Remembrance will cost a 5€ donaton.The Tree of Lights cards are available from Lions and from the following outlets:-Sol TV office in the Filton Centre Los Balcones, The Card Place Benimar Commercial centre Benijofar, Hoggies Bar San Luis, Hair OTT Torreta II, Jack´s Bar Torreta II, PB´s Los Dolses Villa martin, Lakeside bar and restaurant San Luis and "Country Cook In" restaurant in Formentera del Segura. Funds raised will go to our cancer patient support unit fund. Our thanks to all these businesses who are supporting our campaign. Especial thanks to the Hotel Cabo Cervera who are donating the Christmas Tree, and allowing us to display it and the Book of Remembrance from the inaugaration at 8:00p.m. on December 14th to January 17th.
